What is a skiplet?

A Skiplet is a standard skip bin that has been transformed into a parklet.

 

Measuring 4.8L x 2.4W, Skiplets fit within a standard car space, have built in traffic bollards and are adjustable to the height of the street allowing safe pedestrian access and storm water drainage. To date, Skiplets have mostly been used to increase outdoor trading footprint for local businesses, but they have many exciting applications.
